We have been driving people to events in London for 35 years and seen how the amount of events have grown over the years. We wanted to build an event calendar to share with our customers, so we created an A to Z guide of the biggest Summer Events in and around London, all conveniently categorised into sport, music and cultural events by month. We hope that the guide will inspire you to visit some of these incredible events either for client entertainment, team motivation or for personal pleasure. Please see quick links to June, July and Aug below.

What a month! June is blessed with sports and music blockbuster events like the Champions League Final, Euros, Royal Ascot, Trooping the Colour, Capital Summertime Ball, Taylor Swift and BST Hyde Park. Alternatively, there's the Pride Parade, Mighty Hoopla & Hampton Court Music Festivals whilst if you fancy a trip out of London, Glastonbury is back and bigger than ever!



Ladies Day

The two-day Epsom Derby Festival extravaganza starts with Ladies’ Day on Friday 31 May.  Always an opportunity to dress in your most stylish attire and enjoy some spectacular racing.  The feature race is The Oaks, one of Britain’s five Classic races and contested by the best fillies of their generation.  Also on the card is the Group One Coronation Cup which is always hotly contested

Derby Day


Date: Sat 1/6 (Derby starts at 4.30pm)
Address: Epsom Downs, Surrey

The 'Derby' is Britain's richest flat horse race, and the most prestigious of the five Classics. It is sometimes referred to as the "Blue Riband" of the turf. With the iconic Ladies Day on the Friday, it should be fascinating to see all the wonderful outfits before we build up to the big race at 4.30pm with over 100k people cheering their favoured horses on...

Champion's League Final


Date: Sat 1/6 (8pm Kick-off)

Address: Wembley Stadium

Borussia Dortmund will face Real Madrid in the 2024 Champions League Final at Wembley. The Bundesliga side beat PSG 2-0 on aggregate while Real Madrid needed two dramatic late goals from Joselu to beat Bayern Munich 4-3 on aggregate, having drawn 2-2 in the first leg. Dortmund are going for their second ever Champions League whilst trying to stop Real winning their 15th trophy!! Should be an epic night under the arch!!

MLB London Series 


Dates: Sat 8/6 & Sun 9/6 

Address: London Stadium

MLB World Tour: London Series is back this summer as New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies meet in a two-game regular-season series on June 8-9. Following St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs facing off in 2023, MLB is bringing the best of baseball back to London Stadium as these NL East rivals go head to head. Expect New York and Philadelphia inspired ballpark food, live entertainment and box-office baseball drama to be hitting the capital again!

The Euro's 'Big Screen' Events


Dates: Fri 14/6 to Sun 14/7 

Address: Box Park (Wembley, Shoreditch, Croydon)

The 2024 European Championships will be held in Germany but you can see all the games at Box Park in Wembley, Shoreditch & Croydon. The only place to watch the Euro's live with visceral fan reactions in an unbeatable atmosphere as seen on TV. Catch all the action and magic of the tournament as Box Park brings you the ultimate summer of Football. England play Serbia at 8pm on the 16th, Denmark at 5pm on the 20th and Slovenia at 8pm on the 25th. 

Gallagher Premiership Rugby Final


Date: Sat 8/6 (3pm Kick-off)

Address: Twickenham Stadium

After a sensational Gallagher Premiership Rugby Final in May 2023 we saw Saracens lift their sixth title at Twickenham, all eyes now turn to the semi finals as Saracens take on Northampton Saints and Bath play Sale Sharks. The winners of each Semi Final to be held on the 31st May and the 1st June respectively will emerge to play in the illustrious Gallaher Premiership Rugby Final on the 8th June at Twickenham. The Final kicks off at 3pm at Twickenham.

Cartier Queens Cup Final 


Dates: Tue 12/6 to Sun 16/6 

Address: Guards Polo Club, Windsor

The Cartier Queens Cup Final is Polo club's top tournament, highlighting the world's top players and their incredible ponies. Sponsored by Cartier for more than a decade this competition offers fantastic, high-goal sport accompanied by incredible Clubhouse hospitality from Searcys. The semi-finals (12 June) and finals (16 June) are open to Non-Members. May - 16 June. Perfect for picnics and champagne on the lawn. 

Royal Ascot


Dates: Tue 18/6 to Sat 22/6

Royal Ascot is a highlight of the summer social season and is certainly a must-attend event of the year and a quintessentially British day out.

These are five days made for socialising. Experience all the elements of Royal Ascot in 2024: the racing, the pageantry, the dining and the style!


Every day of the Royal Ascot meeting – from Tuesday to Saturday – is attended by the royal family.

Cinch Tennis Championship


Dates: Mon 17/6 to Sun 23/6  

Address: Queen's Club, West Kensington

The Cinch Tennis Championships (formerly known as the Stella Artois to most tennis fans) is back at Queens Club in West Kensington and all the big men's hitters are teeing off on the grass in preparation for Wimbledon in July. Previous champions include John McEnroe, Lleyton Hewitt, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Feliciano Lopez and the newly crowned Wimbledon men's champion – Carlos Alcaraz.

Springboks vs. Wales & Barbarians vs. Fiji

Date: Sat 22/6 (Kick-off at 2pm & 5.15pm)

Address: Twickenham Stadium

The iconic Twickenham Stadium is set to host two blockbuster matches in one day. The day starts at 2pm when the reigning World Champions South Africa take on Wales – this is followed by a clash between club and international rugby when the Barbarians take on Fiji at 5:15pm.


It's like a one day international festival of Rugby in the sun.

Taste of London


Dates: Wed 12/6 to Sun 16/6 

Address: Regents Park

Every summer, Taste of London take over Regent’s Park for a next level food-fuelled

garden party in London's iconic Regents Park. They'll be joined by 55,000 hungry Londoners, ready to devour the best food and drink in the country. Taste of London will be celebrating 20 years of the much loved food festival where the most delicious restaurants from across London are brought together for five days of feasting. 

Kew Midsummer Fete


Date: Sat 22/6 

Address: Kew Green

A charming local family day out in the resplendent location of Kew Green. Kew Midsummer Fete is centred around Reuben Bond's Vintage Fairground, live music from local bands and talent acts with its friendly dog show, tug of war, mobile farm, fun inflatables, tea tent and beer tent, over 100 stalls with a varied food
court and charity raffle. This is not your average village fete and entry is Free!

Trooping the Colour


Date: Sat 15/6 

Address: St. James's Park

Number 9 Company Irish Guards will Troop their Colour in the presence of His Majesty The King on Saturday 15th June 2024. Taking part will be over 1350 soldiers of the Household Division and King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery, including over 300 musicians from the Massed Bands. One of London's traditional calendar must do's. Trooping the colour is viewed around the world especially as it's the first in honour of our King.

Pride (London Parade) 


Date: Sat 29/6  

Address: Trafalgar Square & West London

Pride in London celebrates the diversity of the LGBT communities with the colourful Pride in London Parade, as well as free festivity events that take place in Trafalgar Square. This event brings together people of all genders, ethnicities, sexualities, and races. The jewel in Pride Month’s crown is the annual Pride Parade, which typically comprises around 600 groups and over 30,000 participants.


Mighty Hoopla Music Festival

Address: Tulse Hill

Sometimes you need to embrace the cheesiness, you know? Mighty Hoopla has firmly established itself as a festival promoting the very finest of pop, as well as platforming established and emerging LGBTQ+ performers.


he result of this is a weekend of feel-good fun where the crowd are just as dazzling as the entertainment. The big name line up includes Jessie Ware, Bananarama, Nelly Furtado, En Vogue and Rita Ora

Capital Summertime Ball


Date: Sun 16/6 

Address: Wembley Stadium

The Summertime Ball is Capital FM's flagship live music event showcasing many of the multi-platinum selling artists that feature on Capital FM's radio station.

This year's Summertime Ball line-up is looking as huge as ever (consisting of David Guetta, Becky Hill, Perrie and RAYE, to name a few), and 80,000 tickets have already gone on sale!

Pub in the Park

Address: Chiswick

The brainchild of Tom Kerridge, each festival celebrates everything there is to love about the glorious British pub; delicious food, award-winning chefs, epic live music, delicious drinks but above all else a fantastic time with friends and family.  Expect to see some of the hottest new names in the food world, your TV favourites, and some highly-acclaimed Michelin-Starred heroes. 2023 welcomed Ainsley Harriot, Si King from the Hairy Bikers, Ed Gamble and Nisha Katona.

Hounslow Mela

London's Biggest South Asian Outdoor Music Festival. Hounslow Mela is a vibrant celebration of South Asian cultural diversity in the heart of Hounslow! 5k people are expected to see the massive celebrity line-up, inc. Zack Knight, Jasmin Walia, Jaz Dhami, F1rstman, Jassi Sidhu, H Dhami. Moreover, there are 15 Live Singers, 2 Stages, 10+ Dance Performances, Food Village, Shopping Bazaar, Arts Village, Grand Indian Street Food Bazaar, Jaipur Kitchen, Rajasthan Heritage Brass Brand, Circus Raj & Funfair rides for the kids

Hampton Court Palace
Music Festival

The majestic Hampton Court Palace courtyard plays host to another sensational series of concerts over 10 nights in June. Alongside the performance of a lifetime from your favourite artist, you'll be able to enjoy a bespoke menu of food and drinks from an incredible selection of street food amid the picturesque East Front Gardens. The line-up so far includes the legendary Tom Jones, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Jack Savoretti, Sam Ryder, Björn Again, Sheryl Crow, Deacon Blue, Paloma Faith, and Jessie J. 

Taylor Swift - Era's Tour


Dates:  Fri 21/6 to Sun 23/6 

Address: Wembley Stadium

Announced after the release of her tenth studio album, Midnights (2022), the Eras Tour is Swift's second all-stadium tour after the 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour. Each show spans over 3.5 hours, with a set list of 44 songs grouped into 10 distinct acts that portray Swift's studio albums conceptually. Taylor will play at Wembley for 3 nights in June and for 9 nights in August. 

Chaka Khan's Meltdown

Dates: Fri 28/6 to Sun 30/6 

Address: Southbank Centre

Joining a long list of legends like David Bowie, Yoko Ono, Patti Smith, Grace Jones and David Byrne, Chaka Khan is taking on Southbank Centre’s Meltdown Festival. About her curatorship, she said: ‘Get ready to experience the heart and soul of Meltdown 2024, where the magic of music meets the warmth of community.’


Line-up includes: Todrick Hall, Lady Blackbird, Incognito, Emeli Sandé, Big Joanie, War, and more.

BST - Hyde Park


Dates: Sat 29/6 to Sun 14/7 

Address: Hyde Park

One of the festival highlights in the London calendar. BST Hyde Park has all the vibes of a real festival, but then you can go home at the end of the night! 

The event, which takes place across several weekends between 29 June until 14 July, will feature Kings of Leon, SZA, Andrea Bocelli, Robbie Williams, Shania Twain, Stevie Nicks, Kylie Minogue and Stray Kids

Address:  Worthy Farm, Worthy Lane, Pilton, Shepton Mallet, Somerset, BA4 4BY


Glasto' is back and bigger than ever! Right at the top of the Pyramid Stage, the headliners will be Dua LipaSZA, and Coldplay, with Canadian country star Shania Twain lined up for her coveted turn in the festival’s beloved Sunday afternoon legend’s slot.


Elsewhere, the wave of announced acts features Janelle Monae, D-Block Europe, James Blake, Fontaines DC, Romy, Olivia Dean, Ayra Starr, Seventeen, Barry Can’t Swim, and “so many more artists, stages, and performance areas to be announced”.


As Emily Eavis has previously noted, it’s a more balanced top billing than last year’s all-male headliner billing: this time, two out of the three headliners are women

Wimbledon 2024 will be a special Championships this year as the LTA celebrate 150 years of lawn tennis, and the Wimbledon Foundation's 10th anniversary. As the oldest tennis tournament in the world and one of the four Grand Slam tournaments, Wimbledon holds a special place in the hearts of players and fans alike. Also, strawberries and cream and Henman's Hill have become iconic with the world's best tennis venue. 

Olympics on the Southbank 


Dates: Fri 26/7 to Sun 11/8

Address: Between the Bridges, Southbank

The Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be the biggest event ever organised in France. The Olympic Games will take place from 26 July to 11 August 2024, when Paris will become the centre of the world for sport. Can't get to Paris? No worries. You can watch the action on a big screen on the South Bank in London and combine with a lovely walk by the Thames.

F1 British Grand Prix

Summer Series, Somerset House

Kew The Music

Kew the Music is a glorious week-long festival of summer picnic concerts set within the stunning grounds of the Royal Botanic Gardens. Proving to be a hit amongst all generations of music lovers, the popular concerts are the perfect evening out for all the family to enjoy.' Line includes JLS, Beverley Knight, Passenger, Ronan Keating and Mika. The festival kicks off with an evening with everyone's favourite gardener, Monty Don, & ends with an evening with Richard Ashcroft from the Verve! 

Bruce Springsteen

Lauded by Rolling Stone as "the embodiment of rock & roll" with more than 140 million records sold around the globe and more than 70 million in the United States, Bruce Springsteen is one of the world's best-selling artists.


Long recognized as an incomparable live performer, Springsteen and The E Street Band will be returning to Wembley Stadium in 2024. Make sure you've got some snacks as Bruce usually goes for 4 hours!


Hampton Court Palace
Flower Show

RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival 2024 celebrates anniversaries, international inspiration, and gardening for wildlife as the festival returns to the grounds of the historic Hampton Court Palace. Discover a wonderful world of gardening splendour, gorgeous cut flowers and vibrant fruit and veg, to thought-provoking gardens exploring topical themes, this is an must-go event for gardeners and growers alike.

Henley Regatta

The Henley Royal Regatta is surely one of the most esteemed events in the British sporting calendar. Established in 1839, it showcases world-class competitive rowing in a setting that is as sophisticated as it is historic. Expect an atmosphere of refined jubilation along the riverbanks, with everyone in their finest threads as they sip champagne and enjoy the exhilarating event in style. 

The Cowdray Gold Cup, Polo

The British Open Polo Championship for the Cowdray Gold Cup is the premier polo tournament in Europe and the perfect place for a family picnic and glass of fizz. With all the international stars of the game in action in the incomparable setting of Cowdray Park’s stunning grounds, situated in the heart of the South Downs National Park, the tournament draws in polo aficionados from all over the world.

Farnborough Airshow

For decades, the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) has been the global platform for the aerospace and defence industry and best airshow in Britain for the public to watch amazing old and new aircraft including the Red Arrows. It's also a massive exhibition with over 1,200 exhibitors from 44 countries presenting their products to over 70,000 visitors at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre




Last but not least, August is a cultural feast of big events including Park nights at the Serpentine, The Camden Fringe and the Hampton Court Food Fair. Justin Timberlake is also in town and there are lots of boat parties plus the Notting Hill Carnival on the Bank Holiday weekend. Wash it all done at the relaxing Soultown Festival or go out with a bang with the Hundred cricket tournament and there's your London Summer Event Guide complete.

Jazz Cruise on the Thames

Hampton Court Palace Food Fair

Camden Fringe

Address: Variety of venues in Camden

Camden Fringe is an annual arts & comedy festival that takes place in August. Enjoy a variety of genres including theatre, comedy, music, dance, and more. The festival is held in various venues throughout the Camden area, including pubs, theaters, and community centres. With its commitment to promoting new talent and fostering a vibrant cultural scene, the Camden Fringe is an important event in the London arts calendar. and is the main rival to the Edinburgh Fringe.

Notting Hill Carnival 4.png

Dates: Sat 24, Sun 25 & Mon 26/8 (Bank Holiday Monday)

Address: Notting Hill

Simply one of the greatest street carnivals on the planet. Around 1 million people are expected to attend this vibrant Caribbean themed celebration, with traditional music, street food and dancing. The highlight of the festival is the parade that takes place on Sunday, with colourful floats, plenty of inspiring costumes and fun entertainment. It takes place in Notting Hill, one of London’s most vibrant neighbourhoods! 

Notting Hill Carnival is still proudly a community-led event, its ever-increasing popularity over the last 5 decades has seen it become the wonderfully diverse and vibrant event it is today.


London’s NHC is second only to Brazil's Rio Carnival in size, and is now one of the globe's largest annual arts events. NHC is considered to be the largest street event in Europe. Whilst Notting Hill Carnival is rooted in Caribbean culture, with its Windrush-generation influence remaining strongly evident, it is at the same time characteristically ‘London’ – today's modern London


The Hundred (Cricket)

Date: 2/8, 8/8, 11/8, 17/8 

Address: Kia Oval, Kennington

The HUNDRED returns to The Kia Oval in 2024, where Oval Invincibles will play 4 home games including the London derby on 11th August vs. London Spirit. This match is a double header, with both the womens' and mens' fixtures. The Hundred is a 100-ball cricket competition, fusing epic entertainment with high energy sporting action and it will return in summer 2024 (23 July to 18 August) to the Kia Oval so more thunderous bowling and willow bludgeoning.

England vs. Sri Lanka 2nd Test 


Date: Thu 29/8 to 2/9

Address: Lords, St. John's Wood

Test cricket comes back to Lords, the proverbial home of cricket! This is a mouth watering second test of a 3 match series with Sri Lanka.. where South East Asian spin and cunning goes up against Ben Stokes big hitting "BazBall". The Test series will form part of the 2023–2025 ICC World Test Championship so there will be plenty on it. Unfortunately, England's best fast bowler, James Anderson, will have retired. Dust off your blazer and enjoy a slice of cake with your beer... as the Barmy Army sing in the background. 

Silverstone Festival

Paralympic Games


Dates: Wed 28/8 to Sun 8/9

Address: Paris, France

The Paralympic Games, which take place from 28 August to 8 September, will feature some 4,400 athletes competing in 549 events across 22 sports.

Great Britain finished second in the medal table at the Tokyo Paralympics with 124 medals - 41 gold, 38 silver and 45 bronze. Look out for  cyclist Sarah Storey, wheelchair racer Hannah Cockroft, swimmer Maisie Summers-Newton and equestrian riders Lee Pearson and Sophie Wells who all won medals in Tokyo last time out.

And now British fans of American superstar Justin Timberlake will get to see the multi-talented singer-songwriter in live action for two select appearances at the O2 as part of his mammoth The Forget Tomorrow World Tour. Justin will be performing many of his  performing crowd favourites like Mirrors and Cry Me A River, alongside songs from his forthcoming new album, Everything I Thought It Was - don't forget the dates - should be a brilliant series of shows.
